Eisenhower High School Hosts ‘Career Day’ With Vice Mayor Pro-Tem of Houston Jerry Davis

Eisenhower-HS-Career-Day-Jo'neil-Wright-1Eisenhower High School recently hosted “Career Day” for students. The Career Technical Education Department at the campus organized the four-hour event.

Students had an opportunity to learn about possibilities for their future. They talked with more than 20 representatives from companies, trade unions and higher education institutions.

City Council Member and Vice Mayor Pro-Tem Jerry Davis also took part. He presented Principal Benjamin Ibarra with a proclamation from the City of Houston and Mayor Annise D. Parker. The proclamation recognized February 10 as Career and Technical Education Career Day at Ike.
