Local, National Organizations to Host Free Immigration & Citizenship Workshop at Hambrick Middle School on March 21

Citizenship-Image-1Folks in the community can attend an immigration and citizenship workshop. It will take place at Hambrick Middle School on March 21. The workshop will start at 10 a.m. and end at 1 p.m.

Local attorneys and immigration specialists will provide one-on-one legal help*. They will also discuss current issues affecting immigrant families. For example, they will give information about Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). They will also discuss Deferred Action for Parental Accountability (DAPA).

Many local and national agencies are supporting the workshop.

Attendees to complete the Application for Naturalization (Form N-400) should bring the following documents:

[ul class=”list list-search”] [li]Green Card[/li] [li]Passport or I-90 [/li][/ul] [ul class=”list list-search”] [li]Court and Arrest Record[/li] [li]A list of addresses from the last 5 years [/li][/ul] [ul class=”list list-search”] [li]A list of schools and jobs for the last 5 years[/li] [li]A list of all trips outside the U.S. since becoming a permanent legal resident [/li][/ul] [ul class=”list list-search”] [li]Information on all children and current and former spouses[/li][/ul]
