Three AISD softball teams earn playoff berths

Three Aldine ISD softball teams qualified for the Class 6A playoffs that will get underway on Thursday, April 30.

The MacArthur Lady Generals, under the direction of head coach Lechelle Lara, finished second in District 18-6A and will face Cy-Woods on Thursday at Cy-Woods High School. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.

The Nimitz Lady Cougars, under the direction of head coach Bubba Delk, finished third in District 18-6A and will face Cy-Fair on Friday, May 1 at the Aldine ISD Softball Complex. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.

The Davis Lady Falcons, under the direction of head coach Kim Johnson, finished fourth in District 18-6A and will face Cy-Ranch on Friday, May 1 at Davis High School. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
