Davis, Nimitz advance to second round of soccer playoffs

The Davis Falcons and Nimitz Cougars advanced to the second round of the Class 6A soccer playoffs.

Davis, coached by Efrain Rios, defeated Cy-Ranch 3-0 in bi-district play and will take on Strake Jesuit on Friday at 7 p.m. at Delmar Stadium.

Nimitz, coached by Salvador Fernandez, defeated Cy-Springs 2-1 in overtime in bi-district and will face Cinco Ranch at 7 p.m. on Friday at Thorne Stadium.
