We are celebrating National Teacher Appreciation Week! National Teacher Appreciation Week, May 4-8,  is a week-long celebration to recognize teachers and the contributions they make to education and society. Annually, it is held the first full week of May and provides an opportunity for students, their parents, school principals and staff to show their appreciation for the hard work teachers do.

Teachers change the lives of millions of children every day. During the COVID-19 pandemic, our teachers have done so much more to ensure learning continues at home. They are learning new tools, providing at-home learning, and even mailing care packages to students to show how much they care. 

We recognize and appreciate how our Aldine ISD educators play a pivotal role in our student’s lives and prepare them for life-long success. This week, let’s thank our teachers and show them how much we appreciate and love them.

Aldine ISD will be celebrating our teachers throughout the week with a Virtual Teacher Appreciation Week. Get creative and show us how you are honoring your teachers this week using #AISDThankATeacher.
