Preregistration Open for the 2020-2021 School Year for Eligible Prekindergarten Students and New AISD Students Entering Kindergarten

Families can begin the online preregistration enrollment process, which ends June 30.

Pre-enrollment is open for eligible students entering prekindergarten and only new kindergarten students to the Aldine Independent Schools District. Prekindergarten students currently enrolled in Aldine ISD do not need to participate in the pre-enrollment process to enter kindergarten. Documents for your prekindergarten or kindergarten student are available online.

The early registration process gives parents information to ease the enrollment process. It also assists the district in planning for enrollment growth and staffing needs.

Students who will turn four years of age by September 1 of the current year can preregister for prekindergarten (PreK). They must also qualify to attend PreK programs that are offered for free and meet the eligibility criteria. Students new to Aldine ISD who will turn five years of age by September 1 of the current year can preregister for kindergarten. Current students who attended PreK in Aldine, who will go into kindergarten in the 2020-2021 school year, do not need to pre-enroll.

How Can You Start to Pre-Enroll Your Child for 2020-2021?

Pre-enrollment is a three-step process.

Step 1: Go to AldineISD.org/primary to begin the process by completing the online pre-enrollment documents.
Step 2: Once schools resume, the school staff will call the parent or legal guardian to set up an appointment.
Step 3: Complete the enrollment process by attending the appointment with the student’s school.
