AISD Superintendent to be Part of Panel for Channel 13’s “COVID-19 & Our schools”

Aldine ISD Superintendent Dr. LaTonya M. Goffney will be a  panelist along with other education leaders on Channel 13’s “COVID-19 & Our Schools,” scheduled for 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29.

Aldine ISD Superintendent Dr. LaTonya M. Goffney will be part of a panel on Channel 13’s “COVID-19 & Our Schools” on Wednesday, July 29.

The online town hall will be hosted by Channel 13’s Gina Gaston. Dr. Goffney and her fellow panelists will take questions from parents on what to expect in the fall amid the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The goal is to arm parents with as much information as possible as school districts across Houston and the state of Texas prepare for the 2020-21 school year.

Joining Dr. Goffney on the panel will be  Houston ISD Interim Superintendent Dr. Grenita Lathan, Conroe , Spring ISD Superintendent Dr. Rodney Watson, Harris County Health Executive Director Dr. Umair Shah and Texas Federation of Teachers President Zeph Capo.
