Greenspoint Y, Halliburton and Texas Children’s Hospital Donate Backpacks, School Supplies for AISD Primary and Middle Schools

The Greenspoint YMCA, along with Halliburton and Texas Children’s Hospital donated approximately 1,000 backpacks and school supply packets for Aldine ISD primary and middle school students. Each school received 40 backpacks and school supply packets. Posing with the goodies are members of the Family and Community Engagement Department (FACE). Pictured are, (l-r): FACE Executive Director Dr. Martha Escalante, Director of Family and Community Engagement Director Latashia Abrams, and Nancy Gauthier, Family and Community Engagement Specialist. The backpacks and school supplies were picked up by the schools on Friday, Sept. 18 at the Bamberg Professional Development and Resource Center.
