Aldine ISD is Offering Senior Families Virtual Assistance With the FAFSA and TASFA

How-to-Pay-for-College-BThe 2021-2022 FAFSA and TASFA applications opened on October 1, 2020. Completing the FAFSA and TASFA applications for financial aid assistance is one of the most important steps students and families can take to pay for college.

According to the most recent Federal Student Aid annual report, annually the U.S. Department of Education awards around $121.8 billion in federal grants, loans and work-study funds. Most colleges and universities offer a financial aid package that may include free or reduced tuition for students that complete the FAFSA or TASFA. However, money is awarded on a first come first serve basis.

Aldine ISD Guidance, Counseling and Student Support Services department wants to ensure all Aldine ISD senior students and families can benefit from the FAFSA and TASFA. District counselors and advisors prepared to help seniors and their families complete the financial aid application. Senior families can sign up for a virtual appointment on November 10 or November 12, 2020.

During your appointment, a counselor will help you complete the 2021-2022 FAFSA or TASFA.
