The Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Department in collaboration with the Literacy Department is hosting a districtwide virtual literacy night from 5 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14.

After a successful FACE parent training with representatives from Amplify, the curriculum followed by students in mainstream classes in Grades K-5, the department wanted to provide more information about the district literacy curriculum. During the event, families will hear from Benchmark, which provides a curriculum for bilingual students in K-5, and Wit & Wisdom, which provides a curriculum for middle school students.

Families can join the general virtual session at the following link:  http://bit.ly/FACELiteracyNight

Once in the session, parents will be provided with a link for the session that corresponds to their children’s curriculum.
