Families Can Request Transportation For the 2021-2022 School Year

All current Aldine ISD families are required to complete the annual update in Home Access Center (HAC) to update personal information and request transportation for the 2021-2022 school year. 

In order to receive guaranteed transportation for the first day of school, families should fill out the annual update by the deadline of Thursday, August 5. Parents may continue requesting transportation after August 5 but a bus route on August 16 is not guaranteed. 

The goal of the Transportation Department is to provide the safest, most reliable service possible for the students of Aldine ISD. The transportation department is responsible for safely busing nearly 30,000 students to and from school each day on nearly 400 routes. 

To ensure every student is provided transportation, families are required to request transportation through the Home Access Center. As students are assigned to routes, the transportation department will contact families with updated contact information to confirm bus stop, bus route, and a transportation starting date. 

Please be aware that bus routes and schedules may be modified as the school year continues in order to best meet the needs of our students.

Families can download the Here Comes the Bus app from the App Store or Google Play. Here Comes the Bus is available in English, Spanish, and French.

Parents and students can use the app to:

• Locate a bus stop
• Monitor scheduled and actual bus arrival times at home and at school
• Receive text and email alerts when:
  • Bus has entered the radius around the home stop
  • Bus has been substituted

Returning families should complete the Home Access Center Annual Update today to ensure their contact information is correct for the 2021-2022 school year. If you are a returning family and have not created a Home Access Account, you can do so by creating a Home Access Center account.
