Aldine ISD Teachers Recognized by the College Football Playoff Foundation

Houston has been selected as the host city for the 2024 College Football Playoffs (CFP). As part of that selection, the College Football Playoff Foundation commits to investing millions of dollars each year into its host cities’ public school system through the College Football Playoff Foundation.

The CFP Foundation’s primary platform, Extra Yard for Teachers, elevates the teaching profession by inspiring and empowering teachers, and this week Aldine ISD was able to do the same by honoring special teachers. In recognition of Houston being selected to host the 10^th ever College Football Playoffs in 2024, the CFP Foundation began their commitment to education in Houston early by recognizing 10 outstanding teachers throughout the Houston Public School System. Three of the educators selected teach in Aldine ISD.

Campus leaders presented each of the teachers with a $200 gift card, from the CFP Foundation and the Harris County-Houston Sports Authority, to purchase supplies and resources to enhance their classroom experience for students.
