Baylor College of Medicine Holding A Day For Health on March 26

Baylor College of Medicine will hold A Day For Health on Saturday, March 26. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and be held at the North East Community Center, 10918 Bentley Street.

This free event is being held to promote wellness for the entire family.

Services offered at the event will be:

  • COVID-19 vaccinations and testing
  • Health and dental screenings
  • Fitness and cooking demonstrations
  • Face-painting and balloon artists

In addition, participants will be eligible for $50 HEB gift cards for vaccinations, as well as raffles and prizes.

There will also be a taco truck at the event and entertainment by a mariachi band.

Joining Baylor College of Medicine as sponsors of the event is Harris County Prect. 2 County Commissioner Adrian Garcia and the Texas Seal Consortium.

Other organizations that will be a part of the event are the Harris County Public Health Department, Texas Children’s Health Plan, the Houston Health Department, BakerRipley, Ibn Sina Foundation, Bite of Hope, the Baylor College of Medicine Teen Health Clinic, Amerigroup, Area Agency of Aging, the Houston Association of Muslim Dentists, the Latino Learning Center, Link Nonprofit, The Metropolitan Organization, and the Gulf Coast Leadership Council.
