Junior and Senior Families are Invited to Learn About Dual Credit Courses
Disponible en:
It’s never too early to start earning college credit.
Lone Star College is providing Dual Credit opportunities for Aldine ISD junior and senior students.
Dual Credit is an opportunity for high school students to earn high school and college credit simultaneously. Students demonstrating college readiness through a college placement exam can earn college and high school credits in the same course by attending classes at their high school, on a Lone Star campus, and or online. Lone Star partners with Aldine ISD to offer courses in the core curriculum, foreign languages, and workforce education.
This summer, Lone Star College – North Harris, Lone Star College-North Houston, and the Aldine ISD Advanced Academics department will facilitate virtual information sessions and application workshops for junior and senior high school families. Students interested in learning more about Dual Credit courses are encouraged to attend.
Benefits of taking Dual Credit Courses
- Gain first-hand experience with college-level work while attending high school
