Aldine ISD to Host Fall Family Conference
Disponible en:
On November 5, Aldine’s Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Department will host its second annual Fall Family Conference at Davis High School for Aldine ISD parents to learn more about the various programs that are available to students and families.
The conference will be held from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and will be split up into various breakout sessions. Families will be able to look over all the sessions available and choose which programs they would like to attend. Some of the session topics include choice schools offered within Aldine, college scholarships offered to Aldine students and mental health.
The sessions will last about an hour long, and will be held in Davis High School classrooms. Along with the breakout sessions, community organizations within the district will be present to discuss the role their organizations play in the community, and they will provide information about their respective organizations.
Finding ways to provide information to families in the district is a goal of both Aldine ISD and the FACE Department. Be sure to come out and join other families in learning more about the various programs offered within Aldine ISD, and enjoy the free snacks and giveaways that will be offered to all guests.
