38th Annual Turkey Trot Set for Nov. 5

The 38th annual Aldine ISD Turkey Trot will be held Saturday, Nov. 5, at Lone Star College-North Harris.

The 38^th annual Aldine ISD Turkey Trot will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5, at Lone Star College-North Harris (2700 W.W. Thorne Dr.).

Students will be grouped by age (6 and under), (7-8), (9-10), (11-12), and )13-15). A three-mile race for ages 16 and up will begin at 8 a.m. The Lil’ Chick (6 and under) and one-mile races will follow immediately after the three-mile race.

All finishers will receive an award and a team award will be presented to the school with the most participants. In addition, prizes will be distributed after a random drawing. Individuals must be present to win a prize.

Participants are asked to bring canned goods that will be distributed to a charitable organization for Thanksgiving.

Registration forms can be picked up at a student’s school and returned to the Aldine ISD Athletic Office (1865 Aldine Bender Rd.).
