Carver HS’ Jones-Koumba Inducted Into EBONY Power 100 Class of Honorees

The EBONY family congratulated Roshunda Jones-Koumba’s success and induction into the EBONY Power 100 2022 Class of Honorees. EBONY honored her “for disrupting the industry, pushing boundaries, opening doors, and championing change.” She received the Artist in Residence Award.
Jones-Koumba is the theater director at Carver High School and the recipient of Carnegie Mellon University’s prestigious Excellence in Theatre Education Award, presented at the 2022 Tony Awards.
The star-studded awards ceremony, held in Los Angeles, honored the remarkable achievements of Black trailblazers across industries. The 2022 list honored outstanding leaders across various industries and disciplines, from business, sports, media, activism, and music to entertainment and much more. According to the magazine’s website, the honorees made an extraordinary impact in their fields and our society in 2022.
