Aldine ISD to Hold 6 School Bond Community Meetings; First Meeting on September 26

The meetings are a chance for voters to hear about the proposed $1.8 billion bond on the November 7 ballot.

During six community meetings, voters can learn about the Aldine Independent School District’s proposed $1.8 billion bond.

The measure will be on the November 7 election ballot.

“This bond represents the next chapter in the story of #MyAldine. It is how we fulfill our vision of providing choices and opportunities for future generations. A bond is much more than just transforming buildings and infrastructure. It is an affirmation that, as a community, we are committed to providing our students with the learning environments they need to continue moving forward and be future-ready,” Superintendent Dr. LaTonya M. Goffney said.

If the total bond package is approved with the required simple majority (50% plus one), the district plans to spend:

Voting Information

Registered voters in Aldine ISD can vote at any polling place in Harris County.

Early Voting by Personal Appearance

• Monday, October 23, through Saturday, October 28, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Sunday, October 29, from noon to 7 p.m.
• Monday, October 30, through Friday, November 3, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Election Day

• Tuesday, November 7, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
