Families got to experience and explore the dyslexia program.

The in-person sessions, held on September 30, empowered parents and staff by learning the basics of dyslexia and learning the early signs of dyslexia. Families and teachers learned about dyslexia and ways to assist students with dyslexia to achieve success.

The Dyslexia Department hosted the Day of Learning event. Dr. Kimberly Sinclair, program manager of dyslexia instruction, also shared tools that aid dyslexic students at home and school.

Aldine ISD and its campuses have a great program to support students with dyslexia. Every student is different and responds differently to dyslexia therapy. Sinclair added that staff members work with each student to find the techniques that work for them.
