District to Host Transition Expo on October 28

The Transition Expo is an opportunity for families of children with disabilities, ages 3-22, to meet with agencies and organizations that can meet their diverse needs.
Representatives from local agencies, from local community colleges to public transportation, will provide resources and information regarding all transition phases from toddler to adulthood.

CAREER EXPLORATION!
We will have fire trucks, police vehicles, and EMTs (emergency medical technicians) to give tours of their vehicles, talk about safety, and give information about their respective careers.
FREE CHILDCARE
The event will offer free childcare, allowing parents to visit each vendor without distractions.
FOOD TRUCKS!
Food trucks will be available to purchase lunch.
