Davis HS Student Named Questbridge National Match Scholar

Davis High School Senior Yoisel Rodríguez Toledo was recently named a Questbridge National Match Scholar.

Out of 20,800 applicants, only 2,242 were chosen as scholarship recipients. Yoisel matched with Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia.

He was awarded a 4-year full-ride scholarship, which amounts to more than $348,000.

Yoisel and his family are originally from Cuba and have now been living in the United States for seven years. He is a first-generation college student, and thanks to the Questbridge program, attending a top university in the United States can be affordable for him and his family.
