Nimitz advances to Area Round of Class 6A basketball playoffs

The Nimitz Cougars have advanced to the Area Round of the Class 6A state basketball tournament.

The Cougars defeated Willis in bi-district on Feb. 20 and will take on Tomball on Friday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. at Cy-Creek High School.

Tickets are $5 for students and adults. District 14-6A passes will be accepted at the gate.
