Aldine ISD Hosts Ninth Annual Back-To-School Expo

Despite the rain, Aldine ISD’s Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Department hosted its annual Back-To-School Expo at the M. O. Campbell Educational Center on July 27.  FACE staff members, district employees and volunteers distributed free backpacks and school supplies to families who attended the event.

The drive-through expo utilized volunteers and donations from area business sponsors of the event. From 8-10 a.m., approximately 1,500 vehicles were assisted with nearly 4,500 backpacks and school supplies provided to families and students.
