Four Aldine ISD Varsity Tennis Teams Earn Playoff Berths

All four Aldine ISD varsity tennis teams qualified for post-season action. The MacArthur Generals, led by Coach Matt Geisel, are again 14-6A champions. This is MacArthur’s eighth consecutive district title. The Aldine Mustangs, led by Coach Floyd Mayne, placed second. The Davis Falcons, led by coach Steven Hawkins, placed third, and the Eisenhower Eagles, led by Coach Jeffrey Brush, placed fourth. These teams will represent Aldine ISD in the Bi-District Playoffs on Monday and Tuesday. Below is the bi-district schedule:

Monday, Oct. 7, MacArthur vs Oak Ridge Davis, 3 p.m.

Monday, Oct. 7, Ike vs Woodlands Woodlands 1:30 p.m.

Monday, Oct. 7, Aldine vs Grand Oaks, 1 p.m.

Tuesday, Oct. 8,  Davis vs College Park College Park 3 p.m.
