50 District Educators Named HAABSE Outstanding 2025 Campus Teachers of the Year

In January, the Houston Area Alliance of Black School Educators (HAABSE) announced its Teachers of the Year at the 38th annual Outstanding Teacher Awards and Recognition Ceremony.

The Outstanding Teacher Awards and Recognition Ceremony celebrates teachers across Houston who continue to go above and beyond to serve their students and campus community. During the event, nominees from each participating school were recognized and honored.

Each year, the HAABSE Teacher of the Year Committee reviews applications and will interview nominees nominated by their campus administrators. HAABSE Teacher of the Year finalists were selected once all applications were in.
