The Aldine ISD Police Department invites families to its third annual Trunk-or-Treat Spooktacular, a free community event designed to provide a safe, fun, and family-friendly way to celebrate the spooky season.

What to Expect

This year’s outdoor event promises an evening filled with candy, games, a haunted house, face painting, and even a train ride for the kids. Guests can also look forward to giveaways from local businesses and community partners, including Chick-fil-A, Raising Cane’s, and Walmart.

The Head Start program will host its inaugural Trick-My-Trike event. Families can turn their child’s ride into part of their costume! Whether it’s a bike, trike, wagon, stroller, or wheelchair, families can build and amazing and unique costume around it. So be on the look out for a wagon becoming a pirate ship, or a stroller transforming into a hot air balloon!

There will also be plenty of food truck vendors offering a range of tasty items, including hot dogs, chips, sodas, lemonade drinks, nachos, corn in a cup/roasted corn, loaded fries, and tacos.

Other key vendors and partners include Texas Children’s Health Plan, Aldine Votes, Harris County Public Library, McDonald’s, Harris County Public Health, Aldine-ATF, Aldine ISD Choice Schools, BakerRipley-East Aldine Campus, Lone Star College System, Buckner®, Casillas Immigration MultiServices, Aldine ISD Office of Transformation, AAA, Near Northwest Management District, North Houston District, Harris County Fire Marshal, Jones Family Mortuary, Home Depot #6806 (Little York at U.S. 59/I-69), and more!

In addition, the Lock Your Gun Up initiative will be on-site to promote safety by providing free gun locks to families.

A Community Effort for AISD Families

The Aldine ISD Police Department is once again partnering with the East Aldine Management District, which is serving as the event’s title sponsor. This strong community partnership ensures that organizers can provide a memorable and safe event for all.

Community members, student groups, and local businesses are coming together to make this year’s Trunk-or-Treat Spooktacular bigger than ever. Event organizers are grateful to the volunteers, including Aldine ISD’s Leadership Officer Training Corps (LOTC) students and Walmart employees, who will help bring the Spooktacular to life.
