2 Aldine ISD High Schools Make Top 100 in Niche Ranking

Victory Early College High School and MacArthur High School ranked in the [icons icon_name=”icon-external-link” icon_size=”14px”]Top 100 of Best High Schools in the Houston area. Niche recently posted the 2015 rankings.

The research site [icons icon_name=”icon-external-link” icon_size=”14px”]Niche.com ranked the top public and private schools in the Houston area. The education website awards grades to K-12 schools and colleges across the nation.

Victory Early College High School received an overall grade of “A” and ranked 27th in Houston for Best Public High Schools. MacArthur High School ranked 74th with an overall grade of “B+”. This is the second time that Victory Early College made the grade with Niche.com.  [icons icon_name=”icon-external-link” icon_size=”14px”]Victory Early College High School received an “A” to make the list of the top schools in the Houston area in spring of 2014.

Victory Early College High School also recently made Newsweek‘s ranking of the top 500 schools in the U.S. The campuses are raking in recognition. The [icons icon_name=”icon-external-link” icon_size=”14px”]campuses have also earned recognition in U.S. News & World Report‘s high school rankings.

The Academics grade issued by Niche is the most important factor in the ranking, with a 50 percent weight. Other factors also play in a school’s ranking. These include health and safety, student culture and diversity, survey responses and teachers grades.
