Choice Pathway – Engineering
Grades 1-8
Our Engineering program starts in first grade at Reed Academy and continues to middle school at Grantham Academy with a wide variety of hands-on experiences, with labs specialized in robotics, coding, project based learning, STEM and more. After that, students can continue in one of our specialty high schools.
Grades 1-5
Reed Academy
At Reed Academy, we expose our students to as many engineering fields as possible such as Agricultural, Chemical, Biomedical, Mechanical, and Aerospace engineering. In our state-of-the-art labs, students learn by doing how things work through hands-on activities. They explore coding, robotics, software engineering, mechanics and structures, circuitry, scientific data and analysis, alternative energy, computer graphics, and digital media arts. Our students discover a wide range of applied technologies in a safe, positive environment. They engage in authentic hands-on experiences in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), building on their interests and inspiring many to pursue these fields later in life.

Grades 6-8
Grantham Academy
Grantham Academy, we prepare students to be critical thinkers and problem-solvers. We use an integrated curriculum involving pre-engineering activities in Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, and Mechanical Engineering. The student experience includes a state- of-the-art science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) lab. Our students discover a wide range of engineering technologies and immerse themselves deeper in their interest areas.
