Congressman Gene Green Visits Oleson Elementary School

During National School Breakfast Week, Congressman Gene Green visited Oleson Elementary School to demonstrate his support of the free breakfast initiative, which provides free breakfasts to all students in every school, regardless of family income, as part of a push to ensure that all schoolchildren eat healthfully and receive the nutrition they need to stay alert throughout the day. Congressman Green enjoyed a delicious meal in the school cafeteria with students and staff members. Before he left, the congressman presented the campus with a flag that flew at the United States Capitol Building.
