Hill Intermediate Student Council Attends Aldine HS Football Game

Hill Intermediate School’s Student Council attended the football game between Aldine High and Nimitz High on November 1 at the M.O. Campbell Stadium. Campus staff members Steven Roethler, Student Council sponsor, and Sandra Jones, fifth grade counselor, coordinated the trip and served as chaperones. The students and many parents in attendance enjoyed the beautiful weather along with the exciting game. Unfortunately, with about one minute left in the game, the wind started up and soon everyone was caught in a heavy downpour of rain. The students and parents ran for shelter and had to see the Aldine High Mustangs lose the game the Nimitz High Cougars by two points. Overall, everyone enjoyed the outing and the Student Council members were grateful to be given the opportunity to attend the game and for the experience to bond as a group.
