When asked about his teaching philosophy, he responded:

Every day, every teacher molds minds. How you choose to mold them has a major impact on each student. I believe the first step in education is to make your classroom a place students want to be. Direct Instruction is important, but using different types of instruction is the key to reaching all students. Students gain self-esteem and understand things better when given the opportunity to re-teach the information to their classmates. I know everyday I go to work I am going to make a difference.
