Aldine ISD Students Attend TSA Leadership Conference, 6 Elected Regional Officers

District members of the Technology Student Association recently attended the annual regional Leadership Conference. The event took place at the MacArthur Ninth Grade School.

Students from Aldine High School, Davis High School, Hoffman Middle School, MacArthur High School and Nimitz High School attended.

The event offered opportunities for members to develop their leadership skills. Students participated in team-building and problem-solving activities.

Members also attended a presentation about the manufacturing engineering process. Rob Watson with Thrustmaster of Texas gave the presentation. Thrustmaster of Texas, Inc. designs and manufactures commercial marine propulsion thrusters. The Houston company has international offices in Singapore, China, Rotterdam, Dubai, and Brazil.

Students also voted in the 2014-2015 officers. The officers will represent the TSA San Jacinto region. Members elected many Aldine ISD students to represent the chapter. The elected officers also bring a wide range of experience to the association.
