Mark Your Calendar: Aldine Noon Optimist Club to Announce Essay Winners on March 25

The Aldine Noon Optimist Club will meet on March 25. The Club will announce the winners of the contest. South Texas Optimist International hosts an Essay Competition every year. Students compete from each chapter. The winners advance to the district competition of the [icons icon_name=”icon-external-link” icon_size=”14px”]Optimist International Essay Contest.

Students will be in attendance at the luncheon to read their essays.

The meeting will take place at noon at the [icons icon_name=”icon-external-link” icon_size=”14px”]Aldine Noon Optimist Club (1005 Aldine Bender • Houston, TX • 77032).

Folks planning to attend need to contact Stacey Smith (Email: [email protected]; Phone: 281.985.7554) to RSVP by noon on March 24. Optimists and their guests can bring $6 each for their lunch order the day of the meeting. Folks can select between a turkey, ham or chicken salad sandwich with chips, pickle and a cookie. The Club will provide lunch for the essay winners and their campus administrators.
