Missed instructional days for April 18, 19, 20

Aldine ISD will not extend the school year to make up the missed days. The district will apply for a TEA waiver for two days. The third day will be addressed through the total number of instructional minutes allowed through a new state law. PK, intermediate, middle, and high school schedules meet the requirements for the third day.

Elementary schools will adjust the instructional day to make up the third day. Beginning May 2, the school day will be extended by 15 minutes. Instruction will begin at 7:50 each day and dismissal will begin at 3:05. Parents will receive notification of the new schedule.
