Preparing for the Cold Front – Nov. 11

An arctic cold front will move through the Houston area Monday evening.

Jeff Linder, with the Harris County Flood Control District, does not expect any freezing precipitation for the Houston area, but temperatures will dip into the 30’s overnight. Wind gusts are predicted to be 40 mph Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Parents, please make sure your children are dressed warmly for the next couple of days, especially if they have to wait at a bus stop.

The district will run heaters at all campuses throughout the night so pipes remain as warm as possible.
