Outside Food and Beverages are Prohibited on the Premises of Secondary Schools!

Dear Aldine ISD Community,

The safety of our students is a top priority. Due to various recent events on campuses, effective immediately, outside food and beverages, except unopened water bottles, are prohibited on the premises of secondary schools – middle, ninth grade, and high school – until further notice. The items will be confiscated if found, and the student could face disciplinary action per the district’s Student Code of Conduct.

This is not meant to impact school lunch; instead, the focus is on snacks, candy, etc. Students with special dietary or medical needs should meet with the school nurse to ensure they have approval and access to items they may need to bring in.

Estimada comunidad de Aldine ISD:

La seguridad de nuestros alumnos es una prioridad principal. Debido a varios eventos recientes en los colegios, con vigencia inmediata, las bebidas y los alimentos externos, con la excepción de agua embotellada sin abrir, están prohibidos en las instalaciones de las escuelas secundarias (intermedia, noveno grado y secundaria) hasta nuevo aviso. Los artículos que se encuentren se confiscarán, y el alumno podría enfrentar una acción disciplinaria según el Código de Conducta Estudiantil del distrito.

Esto no tiene el objetivo de afectar el almuerzo escolar, sino que se centra en bocadillos, dulces, etc. Los alumnos con necesidades dietéticas o médicas especiales deben reunirse con el enfermero o enfermera escolar para asegurarse de que tengan la aprobación y el acceso a los artículos que puedan necesitar traer.
