Officer Ariel Holliday Bestowed With TPCA and HAPCA Officer of the Year Awards

Police Officer Ariel Holliday is the inaugural recipient of the Officer of the Year Award from the Houston Area Police Chiefs Association for her outstanding work as the community outreach officer for the Aldine ISD Police Department. Paint the Convert, Trunk-or-Treat, Donuts With a Cop, and Shop With a Cop are only a few examples of her work.

At the state level, Officer Holliday was honored with the Blauer Police Officer of the Year award at the 2024 Texas Police Chiefs Association Conference for her work with the Aldine ISD Police Department. The conference was recently held on Galveston Island, Texas.

Chief Paul Córdova (seen posing with Holliday to the far left above) said, “We are so proud of her dedication and creativity in reaching our #MyAldine community.”

Officer Holliday is the first officer in AISDPD’s history to serve as a community outreach officer.
