Aldine ISD Police Department’s 3rd Annual Trunk-or-Treat Spooktacular a Record-Breaking Success

The Aldine ISD Police Department’s 3rd Annual Trunk-or-Treat Spooktacular brought a night of spooky fun, laughter, and community spirit to thousands of Aldine ISD families on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.

Thanks to the support of community partners, local businesses, student volunteers, and AISD staff, this year’s event set a new attendance record with approximately 6,000 guests enjoying candy, games, a haunted house, face painting, and a train ride.

Police Officer Perla Salinas, one of the many district and community organizers, shared, “We’re excited to share that we broke our attendance record this year! It’s incredible to see our community come together for a safe, fun, and family-friendly event.”

Families also enjoyed the Head Start program’s inaugural Trick-My-Trike, where bikes, strollers, wagons, and trikes were transformed into creative costumes. Guests also received giveaways from community partners, including Chick-fil-A, Raising Cane’s, Walmart, and many more. Food trucks offered a variety of treats, and the Lock Your Gun Up initiative promoted safety by providing free gun locks.

Special thanks go out to all the volunteers, including Aldine ISD’s Leadership Officer Training Corps (LOTC) students, and the many community partners who helped make the event “frightfully” fun — including East Aldine Management District, the event’s title sponsor; Texas Children’s Health Plan, Harris County Public Library, Lone Star College, McDonald’s, AAA, and more.
